The rain plan is to meet on Saturday at the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, De. We will have two classrooms to work out of and a big yard if the weather clears off. Please still bring all of your own supplies, we will provide floral subjects to paint; artists are encouraged to bring photo references to work from.

The day will begin with Elizabeth at her easel for a demonstration in the garden with a question-and-answer session. You will then have an opportunity to paint on the grounds of this beautiful private garden with Elizabeth walking around throughout the painting time, as well as getting in a few moments at her own easel. A boxed lunch will be provided to enjoy at your easel or when you take a break. Mid-afternoon Elizabeth will have everyone gather for a soft critique and a champagne aperitif (in the French tradition).
This is an all day paint-along, wear comfortable “what you paint in” clothes. You will need to provide your own easel (plein-air recommended), as well as painting supplies. Elizabeth primarily works in pastel and oil, but all mediums are welcome. We recommend having several prepared painting panels on hand for the day for your medium of choice. Bug-spray, sunscreen, hats and extra water are not included. Participants should be physically able to carry their own equipment over “garden” terrain. Space is limited to 30.
