Margo M. Johnson

Margo Johnson’s Greek roots are the primary influence in her life both in the approach to her painting as well as her love of the outdoors. When traveling, she stays in one location long enough to acquaint herself with not only the people but also the effect that the landscape and seascape have on them. This helps to form an individual style to her painting. Her annual trips to Greece renew her spirit as she has the opportunity to reconnect with the people, and more importantly the Aegean Sea for which she has a special place in her soul.

A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Margo has taught art in the public schools for 36 years. In retirement, she is able to pursue her true interest, painting. Her art work can be seen in local galleries in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
