Susan Weiss is a BFA graduate of Moore College of Art with a teaching certification from Philadelphia College of Art. A resident of Bucks County, it is not surprising that nature is a recurring theme throughout her work. She enjoys painting both American and European landscapes and architecture; using a unique mixed media technique of watercolor and acrylic on rice paper she creates a textural effect. An accomplished painter Susan’s paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and juried shows including the Immaculata University Art Show where she was 2004 Featured Artist, the Birdsboro Art Show where she was 2005 Featured Artist and the Rittenhouse Fine Arts Annual where she won First Place in watercolor.
